How do I know what size to get?

1. We often get this question. When shopping online, you need to know your measurements. We all know that sizes vary depending on the brand or country (e.g. European sizes vs American sizes). We recommend you take a measuring tape and take note of your bust, waist, hips and inseam. 

Common fit issues and solutions:

The sizing and fit of a garment can differ depending on the brand or country (e.g.) European sizes vs. American sizes) and while we try our best to include exact measurements in the description of the garment if available, it may be beneficial to locate the original brand’s sizing guide/chart to help differentiate an item’s exact proportions. 

Depending on the item, if exact measurements are available, you are able to locate them in the description box of the item. 

Types of Body Measurements:

PTP (pit-to-pit): measuring across the front or back of the garment from the underarm seam on one side the other underarm seam of the other side

Bust: PTP measurement doubled

Waist: measured across one side to the other at the waist height of the garment and then doubled

Inseam: length from the bottom hem of the garment to the mid-seam in the groin area

Length: total length from top to bottom, may vary on high-low or asymmetrical items

Rise: measuring from the mid-seam in the groin area to the waistband of the garment

All measurements are approximate and not a guarantee of fit.

2. I received the wrong product, what do I do?

We accept returns for any undisclosed damage to any item. For items with listed measurements, we do not accept returns for fit issues. We can accept your return within 3 days of purchase, with a 2% restocking fee, and return shipping is to be paid by the buyer. To be eligible for a return, your item must still have tags attached and be in the same condition that you received it.

To initiate a return, please contact us at info@recycledthreads.co to obtain a return authorization. We will provide you with instructions on how to return the item. Please note that the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs unless the item is defective or was received in error.

Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it to ensure that it meets our return policy requirements. If the item is in acceptable condition, we will issue a refund to your original payment method within 5 days. If the item is not in acceptable condition, we reserve the right to refuse the return.
